Art in the Pass 2014

I have been anxiously waiting to hear back from the selection committee for a local art market, and I just heard I was accepted! I am super excited about this fair because it will be in my new neck of the woods, and hopefully we will have everything moved and unpacked beforehand so it won't be a complete disaster setting up a booth. It's on the Mississippi Gulf Coast at the War Memorial Park in Pass Christian, which is right on the water so it's absolutely beautiful.

I went to the event last year and was so impressed with the vendors that I felt I could actually sell something if I had a booth. I've been to some fairs where it's all either monogrammed madness (the sad norm down here in the South) or garage sale items. I guess I should have done my homework, but it was a good experience to have in the long run. Art in the Pass seriously caters to artists and their work, which means people who enjoy art actually come and want to purchase said art. I'm hoping this will help me lay some groundwork in getting Papoose Clothing known in the area. I have so much sewing I need to do first, but I have a game plan mapped out before the event starts on April 5!
